But what about your future? If you don't care about those are are dying around you, then what is that?

[ steph has been told that she gets too emotional about things. and maybe people are right, but it's better than the alternative. ]

"The future of mankind" is such a vague, abstract concept, 2B. You can't think of it as some big picture. It's the small ones that make up mankind. It's the people who are next to you, talking to you, who nod your head at you when you walk by and then you never see them again!

When I say "mankind," I mean humanity. They fled Earth to escape the war they created us androids to fight in. Our sole purpose has always been to ensure that humans could one day return to Earth. That's all.

So, are you going to tell me that you don't care for a single other person then in your war?

2B, where I'm from there are androids and cyborgs and all of that, and they're definitely people.
